all clear!

my ob gyn called today to let me know that my irregular pap is all clear! whoo hoo! the biopsies they took are clear, too! more whoo hoo!

i've been so worried about my fibroid (aka, Agatha) that i totally forgot i had a weird pap. so: no std's. no cervical weirdnesses (as of right now). just one poolball-sized fibroid to be eradicated.

life's good.

(oh, and i broke down and re-upped with eHarmony. frakking commercials!)

cervical weirdness can really stress a girl out, you know?

a word to the women with daughters out there: innoculate your daughters against HPV virus!

cervical cancer is no joke.

I'm taking a trip around my blogroll -- something i've been seriously remiss in doing -- I'm glad your test came out okay. I have a mack-daddy fibroid that I imagine looking like the thing in Alien, so I can relate to naming yours.

my sister was apalled that i named it, but it's sort of funny. this week is my sonohistogram, so fingers crossed that it won't be hard to remove.

(thank goodness it's not attached to my ovaries. a total hysterectomy would bum me out.)

for a while, 'brad' was tied with 'agatha' but agatha seemed more appropriate in tone.

and i hope that lutheran chick's fibroid gets treated soon, too! (lately it seems that almost every woman i meet has had one or has one.)
